Why it’s great to work here
Time
Take December off
Our reservations team is encouraged to take shorter lunch breaks during the rest of the year which enables them to take December off, as our clients’ travel plans are very quiet during the Christmas season.
Purchase extra days
We give you the chance to buy up to 10 extra days holiday, to be used within the holiday year. If you choose to buy some days we make the deductions from your gross (before tax) pay so you will be able to enjoy extra holidays whilst also saving on income tax and National Insurance!
1% of work time
1% of time encourages all staff to donate 1% of their time to the local community. By doing so, employees experience the joy and satisfaction of giving and pass that enthusiasm to others, spreading a culture of caring.
We have Brownie Leaders, Special Police Officers, School Governors and people organising fundraising events, all contributing in work time.
Flexible working
We support homeworking wherever possible and around 15% of our staff are home based full time. Others work from home on a regular basis.
Staff with children can apply for flexible working hours provided they have worked a continuous period of 26 weeks at the date their application is made. Currently over 40% of our staff have a flexible working arrangement of some sort in place.
Birthday day off
At Click we think birthdays are special, so we give you an additional days annual leave so you can celebrate properly!
Month off for long service
We are a relatively new company but some of our staff have been with us since the beginning! Those who have been with us for 10 years are awarded with an extra 21 days (one month) paid holiday on their 10th year.
Interestingly, we have a number of employees who are saving up for the holiday of a lifetime in their 10th year – that’s how much they love working here and how sure they are that they’re going to be here for over 10 years!

Career pathway
Over a quarter of our staff started as a trainee and have progressed into more senior roles via our programmes of training and development.
Click Coach trips
Our shadowing programme is open to all staff and is known as Coach Trips.
Staff spend time with another department, seeing what they do, building their understanding of their role in the bigger company and actively contributing to their work too.
Internal promotions
43% of our staff have been promoted internally, which demonstrates the opportunities for career progression.

Great working environment
We believe we offer a great working environment in a number of ways – we pay the Living Wage, we have offices that are comfortable and appealing to work in, we have have space both indoors and out for employees to rest and renew in during the course of the working day and encourage everyone to take a proper lunch break.

Lunch & learns
Our reservations team is regularly invited to a free lunch with suppliers, where a short presentation will be given along with Q&A session, so that our reservations staff have the most up to date information enabling them to talk knowledgeably about our suppliers to customers.
Course funding
We will fund educational courses to support our employee’s career such as qualifications in marketing, accounting, software engineering or SQL coding.
We also give access to NVQ courses in Customer Service, Team Leadership, Management and much more.

This scheme is designed to allow employees to make savings on new bicycles and equipment via salary sacrifice. In essence, we buy you a bike to use to commute to work and you buy it off us over a number of months.
Recommend a friend bonus
If you recommend someone for a role with us and they successfully complete their 6 months probationary period, you will receive a Recommend a Friend bonus of £500!
Free coffee & tea
Literally as it says, free tea and coffee for your comfort! You’re also welcome to use our milk and kitchen facilities to have breakfast in the office – equipped with a toaster and microwave, plus dishwashers and fridges, crockery and cutlery.
Childcare vouchers
We have a childcare vouchers scheme that may be beneficial to you if you pay for childcare. Childcare vouchers are a government-initiated scheme available from employers for working parents to use to pay their childcare costs for children up to the age of 16.
Familiarisation trips
Staff are offered familiarisation trips which helps us increase awareness of suppliers’ products in order to deliver added value to our customers. Past trips have included a show, dinner and an overnight stay in Bradford, 4 days in Istanbul and weekend trips to the German Markets in Dusseldorf.

A stakeholder pension scheme is in place that our employees may opt to join after 3 months complete service.
Rail discounts
All staff can get up to 45% discount off rail journeys by using a Travel Agents’ Discount Authority.
One Step Further Awards
We actively reward our staff when they go over and beyond the call of duty and have achieved something special. They can be nominated by a line manager, receive a high recommendation from clients and/or be recommended by a colleague. Winners receive a £20 shopping voucher.

Free eye tests
All employees who use a computer are entitled to an eye test every 2 years; to which Click will meet the costs.

Gifts & events
Every other month, we organise a gift or event for all our staff.
In the past this has included Easter eggs, seaside rock, Valentines gifts and a Halloween Party with face painter, ghost walk and some sweet treats for everyone!
Fun days
We always like to inject a bit of fun into our work and get involved with festivities and events.
Previously we have had halloween face painting day (costumes and all!), a Wimbledon Day and numerous events for the 2014 World Cup including an office penalty shootout!
Pay day drinks
On pay day we like to let our hair down and go somewhere for a relaxing drink in Birmingham, all are welcome!
Social commitee
The social committee meets fortnightly to plan a variety of activities for the whole office, including charity runs and cake sales, easter egg hunts, summer parties, Christmas parties and themed days for special occasions.
The aim is to keep the workplace fresh and fun, anyone is welcome to join the committee to bring in more ideas!

Each year the whole company come together in one location for a fabulous Christmas Party. We all enjoy a good meal, drinks and entertainment before dancing the night away!

If you or your partner have a baby or adopt a child, we send you a gorgeous hamper of goodies to welcome them to the world.

It’s a great space to hold less formal meetings, or to have your lunch in if you fancy a change of scenery and you can pop the TV on whilst on a break.
Fitness clubs
Our recently launched fitness clubs include a lunchtime T25 Insanity group. Thankfully, we have on site showers available!
Charity fundraising
Charity is very close to our hearts. As a company we contribute 1% of our profit and 1% of our product to good causes and as individuals we contribute 1% of our working time to volunteering.
Our charity of the year (as nominated and voted for by the staff) is Midlands Air Ambulance and we’re aiming to raise £2,500 for them this year. So far we’ve held bake sales, taken part in the Great Midlands Fun Run and made helicopter jewellery!
Still to come are more bake sales (any excuse for cake!), a 3 day walk along Hadrian’s Wall and several tuck shops.
